Understand that as that would be a massive CPU killer. Super pluses – Working with blocks and maschine is a joy. Integration is good and rapid processing makes. The upper CPU limit is set by accessing Maximum CPU Usage, where a number of 80 means 80% and so forth. However, be aware that Reaktor changes. I finally got a chance to play with the free Reaktor Blocks, and am loving How’re you finding the hit to your CPU with Reaktor 6?

Post Fri Jun 02, pm. Quick links. Post Tue May 30, pm The single core Reaktor architecture makes it almost impossible to use it inside Reason. Simple ensembles are ok. Advanced new Reaktor 6 blocks and that includes Monark no way. Is there a solution to that? Anyway seems some of the Reaktor community has gotten some curiosity for Reason 9.

Post Wed May 31, am I’ve asked the Reaktor community if they can notice a different behaviour, or I could have an odd Xeon cpu in the first place. Post Wed May 31, am I’m on an ancient mac mini. Monark works just fine, barely getting past one bar of cpu. When I switch its internal resolution to 44k, it uses up zero bars. Blocks works the same. I’m having the most fun with Reaktor ensembles inside Reason.

Dream matchup. Post Wed May 31, pm Re8et wrote: Anyway seems some of the Reaktor community has gotten some curiosity for Reason 9. Post Thu Jun 01, pm Today Reaktor seems to play better, I was thinking part of the problem was I was running the Player iteration and not yet the full upgrade Infact today I could run Monark of Canada ensemble without problems.

NI did a wonderful job on the interface. Trigger both at the same time. I debated as to whether I should get an OT too, but I think that by being inventive and optimise some voices sample chains? This is my exact workflow lately, and it is working out well. The only hiccup in smoothness to this workflow is getting the Reaktor samples into AR with C6.

I think you are right about the advantages of stereo sample pairs , even at the loss of an extra voice. I still use mono Reaktor samples mixed in with the stereo pairs, though, as a bit of parameter locked panning and FX sending helps, without filling the 64MB project ram too fast.

I use Reason 7. Plus, if you fancy going down the wormhole, you can get into making your own synths. As deep as it is, so far my biggest issue with Reason is only being able to use patch points or modulation points where the developers have put them in. Always loved tassman and figured upgrading would be worth it. Cheers for the tip. Do you mean the Blowfield editor?

Been using it myself for a while, happy enough but still on the lookout for a better option. Have used pre-rolled Reaktor ensembles for years, but the introduction of Blocks has finally inspired me to get under the hood a little bit. Highly recommended. Especially when I see the likes of:.

Very easy. I finally got a chance to play with the free Reaktor Blocks, and am loving it…finger is hovering over the buy button and I may throw a bunch of digital gear on eBay if it covers my needs like I think it will. Hard to tell what that might translate to with some more intensive ensembles.

If they came out with a device with half-decent CV and midi options to integrate with Reaktor 6 I’d be on it like a fat kid on a Twinkie. Each effect comes with different dedicated controls. Al Yeska 2nd December I think you are right about the advantages of stereo sample pairs , even at the loss of an extra voice. Reaktor 6 immediately strikes you as cleaner, sharper and nicer to look at. BTW, are you able to open projects created on the hardware with the software version? Terminals on the left of a module are inputs, while those on the right of a module are outputs.
